Actually I never knew what the kind of dance they do was, it's funk!!! This past weekend Robert Schultz came to my studio to teach us the opener to our recital, and one of the dance was a style I never seen it was like jazz, but with a hip-hop taste, it was funk, he told us that.

It's not just a company ballet class. You try out for a company, you can be put on Pre, Junior or Senior. You compete. You have a lot of different Company classes, all styles of dance, and then you compete them, and some happen to be ballet and pointe!!!

I don't remember exactly when I got my pointes, but I think I was 10-11 years old. They didn't have my size so my mother just bought some shoes although she knew we had to change them ^^

Some schools have company classes that are just junior ballet companies. Mainly, they're ballet and they put on performances like any other ballet company, but it's all students. I've never heard of a company being competitors.

alright here we go. Piroettes, you start in fourth, you end in fifth.

Splits- practice daily.

Arabesque- work your back muscules and stretch

Leaps- PLIE before and after the leap and don't travel when you leap, go up in the air, the run, run, or chasse or chane turn is for the traveling part.
